Hello Ontbirders, You can now register for the 2013 Annual Convention in Point Pelee, Friday 27 September through Sunday 29 September on the OFO web site at www.ofo.ca. You'll see a link on the home page or you can go to the Convention Section, Main Page then follow the on-line prompts to register. If you prefer to register by mail, the convention brochure (link below) includes a mail-in registration form.
This year's convention is again three days long with a full slate of hikes and field workshops including guided kayak paddling through the marsh and workshops on Odonata and drawing birds in the field. On Friday evening, Sarah Rupert will MC "Birds and Beers" at Pelee Days Inn where you will be able to test your bird knowledge against a panel of experts.This year the Saturday banquet will be at the Portuguese Club in Leamington where our guest speaker will be Greg Miller of "The Big Year" book and movie fame.
