June 26 - In the evening from 8:50 to 9:09 PM, 32 Great Egrets were counted (nearly half were nestlings) on Weseloh Rocks (the islands above the Canadian Falls near the stranded barge). Also most of the Black-crown Night-Herons have left, and I only saw 10. There were 4 Common Mergansers (3 female and one adult male). Between 9:09 and 9:45 PM an additional 19 Great Egrets flew in to the colony for a total of 51 Great Egrets.
