Mike McEvoy asked us to post that his dear friend, Robert Taylor, passed away peacefully yesterday evening in Winnipeg. Mike was helping to care for Bob. Originally from Toronto, Bob Taylor was a superb birder, tour leader and award winning photographer. His Great Gray Owl book was reprinted several times. Bob loved Point Pelee National Park and spent his 51st season at Pelee this past May with his many birding friends. Bob will be greatly missed. Our condolences to Bob's family and friends.
