Visitors:
We had a great turnout for the last day of Hawk Fest. Thanks to all of our
members, volunteers and visitors for making this one of our best.
Weather:
A beautiful day on the tower with NNW winds, moderate temperatures and
sunny skies.
Raptor Observations:
A nice mix of raptors on the final day od Hawk Fest 2013.The highlights
were our second Golden Eagle of the year overflying in the early afternoon
and the wild hatched Peregrine banded at the hawk station and adopted out
at the tower.
Non-raptor Observations:
Predictions:
NNE winds in the morning veering to ENE as the day progresses. Mostly sunny
skies with the temperature climbing from 8C in the morning to near 20 in
the afternoon.
