Birders,
The posting earlier today commenting on hunting of Mourning Doves was
not pre-approved or made with consideration of Ontbirds posting
guidelines. Ontbirds and the Ontario Field Ornithologist have a strict
policy against flaming of individuals or organizations including the
perception of flaming. Flaming will NOT be tolerated.
I remind everyone that Ontbirds is a forum for reporting birds so that
birders have a chance to relocate the reported bird. While we do permit
pre-approved public service announcements Ontbirds is NOT intended to be
a platform for commenting on issues that may be of interest to many on
the list. Continued discussion should find a different venue.
Individuals who fail to respect Ontbirds posting guidelines could be
subject to restricted posting privileges.
