Weather:
We were forced to suffer through another horrific day of blue skies, warm
sun and cooling east wind.

Raptor Observations:
The southward vulture procession continues. Turkey Vultures remained a near
constant presence for a fourth straight day. Crossing overhead early, by
the late afternoon they were reduced to mere specks in the distance.
Red-shouldered Hawks made their biggest push of the season so far. And
Peregrine Falcons sped by low and close on multiple occasions, offering up
great looks.

Non-raptor Observations:
Not to be a broken record but songbird migration was again sparse. Blue
Jays (800+) were moving and so were Red-winged Blackbirds (300+). Not much
else other than that. Monarchs (40+) were less noticeable today.

Predictions:
Clear skies, south wind and morning fog.
