Brandon Holden reports a Cattle Egret in a field with some horses at the southeast corner of Mersea Road 21 and Deer Run Road.
This is just west of the town of Wheatley - take Erie Street south from the main intersection (towards Wheatley Harbour) then turn right onto Deer Run Road to cross Muddy Creek.
