Ontbirds subscribers,
This morning Ross Harris rediscovered the adult Pacific Loon at Oshawa Harbour.
It has been seen in the harbour channel as well as about 200 metres south of
the harbour near the green and red marker buoys.
The bird was showing very well, often in the same scope view as several Common
Loons for direct comparison, as of 10 minutes ago.
Take Hwy 401 to the Simcoe St. exit in Oshawa and take Simcoe St. south all the
way to the parking area at the lake. The bird is being seen off the pier at the
mouth of Oshawa Harbour just to the east of the parking lot.
