The male EURASIAN WIGEON was again off Rondeau Park's dock today. It was immediately to your right with hundreds of American Wigeon. It was not the brightest male I have seen so it was difficult to pick out at times. The Bay is loaded with ducks, so likely there are others!

A GREAT EGRET was seen by myself on the far shore of Rondeau Bay from the dock. Rondeau directions (per Allen): From Hwy 401, take exit 101 and travel south along Kent Bridge Road (Chatham-Kent Road 15) to Rondeau. The main park dock is about one kilometre past the park gate on Rondeau Bay. A park permit is required.

The CATTLE EGRET previously reported today was closer to the village of Erie Beach It was right beside the road at the sharp curve south of the village on Dike Road. (Head west on Bisnett Line to Dike Road and turn south).

A late LEAST SANDPIPER was observed at Blenheim Sewage Lagoons this afternoon by myself, James Burk and Steve Charbonneau. It was in the sprinkler cells along with 2 Pectoral Sandpipers and 2 Greater Yellowlegs.
Lagoon Directions: Exit 401 at #90 (Communications Rd.) and head into
Blenheim. At the main stoplight turn right (west) onto Rd. 3. Travel about
1.5 km and turn right (north) onto Lagoon Rd. at the carwash, and continue
north about 1 km to gate. You must have an annual permit to enter.
Available at the Municipal Service Centre, 35 Talbot St. in Blenheim,
during business hours, fax (519) 676-0244.

A BLUE-GRAY GNATCATCHER was observed by myself on McGeachy Pond dike just outside the village of Erieau by myself this afternoon.
