Hello all,

Paul Mackenzie and I located a white phase Ross's Goose just east of Lennox
Generating Station, Bath today at about 13:30. It was just offshore with
approximately 300 Canada Geese and a few Common Goldeneye. We watched it for
about 20 minutes and have photos illustrating size but not bill shape. The
bird was still present when we left.

There is a gated lay-by/pull-off on the south side (lake side) of Hwy 33,
600m east of the entrance to the power station. This lay-by provides access
to a large area of rough land overlooking Lake Ontario. The bird was
actually another 200m along the shore east of this lay-by. These coordinates
may help: 44.1477712, -76.8388081

Good birding,

Mark.
