My cell or my understanding of my cell let me down earlier.
While looking unsuccessfully for Purple Sandpipers at the barge around
3:30 pm today, I scoped at least 3 Northern Rough-winged Swallows.
Water levels are high.
Numbers of gulls are building above the Falls. In addition I had an
adult Little Gull at the Whirlpool as well a 1st cycle Glaucous Gull and
an adult Kumlien's Iceland Gull standing on the breakwall of the
diversion gates upstream from the Dufferin Lakes.
Lower gull numbers downstream at Adam Beck and Queenston Boat Ramp.
