Hi there,

Today (December 6th) at 11:35 am, an adult "Arctic" Peregrine Falcon was
perched atop a telephone pole at the Colonial/Frank Kenny intersection. I
pulled my car to the side of the road and had the chance to study the bird.
It was quite pale dorsally and had a noticeably thin malar stripe and
extensive white around its auriculars. Within a few moments, it was
actively hunting in the fields near this intersection. I was able to get
some flight shots.

Directions: From the 417 E, take Innes Rd. exit and then left on Innes.
Travel Innes until Navan, turn right onto Navan. Follow Navan until Trim,
turn right onto Trim and then left onto Colonial.

Good birding,
Jon Ruddy
