Hi all,
The Eared Grebe continues its stay at the McMillan Pit in Puslinch. Also there
today (Friday) were a Common Loon and Several American Wigeon amongst the usual
Waterfowl and 100s of Canada Geese, at the back of this old Quarry Pit.
Directions: Take Hwy 6 North from Burlington/Hamilton to Conc 1 Puslinch. Turn
left on Conc 1 and continue West to Con 7, then turn right and go North on Conc
7 to Conc 2. Turn left and go West on Conc 2. The pits are well marked,
MacMillan Pit is on the South side aways down. All the birds were
unfortunately at the back, so a quiet walk in and a scope would be advisable,
to see this Grebe well.
Good luck,
Dave
