A Northern mockingbird was observed today near the corner of Lower Side Road
and Norfolk County Road #23 at 3:51 pm. It was feeding on Multiflora rose hips
along the side of the road. This seems to be a different bird than the one
observed during the Otter Valley Naturalists CBC.
Directions: Take Highway #59 south toward Port Rowan. Continue south to Road
#45, then turn left, heading west to County Road #23. Turn right, heading
south until the road bends right. Instead of turning right onto Lower Side
Road continue on County Road #23 roughly 100 meters and you should see the rose
shrubs on the west side of the road.
