The juvenile Northern Goshawk was perched very inconspicuously in a glade of 
trees on the south side of the road just past the last road into the nesting 
colonies, about 3/4 of the way down the spit. I would have walked right past it 
except another birder pointed it out to me. The Snowy Owl was on the first 
small spit on your left as you walk down the spit, well before the fork in the 
road. A Great Horned Owl was about a hundred feet down the Aquatic Park road.
