There is currently a Snowy Owl alternating positions from atop a perimeter snow
fence to the top of a nearby hydro pole along McLeod Road. The owl is right at
the T-junction of McLeod Road and Parkside Road, in the vicinity of Saint
Michael High School. It has been there since 5:30 pm and will likely be
spending the night in the same position. This owl was first reported two weeks
ago in the field across from Saint Michael but I waited for visual confirmation
tonight before sending out the report. Will provide an update and photo links
tomorrow.

DIRECTIONS: Exit the QEW at McLeod Road and head west on McLeod. Go through 3
sets of lights (Montrose, Pin Oak, and Kalar). Immediately after passing Kalar
Road, the entire south side is the field in question. Convenient parking can be
found pulling into Parkside Road (a regular residential neighbourhood) and at
Saint Michael High School.
