Hello Birders,

One flock of 19 Whimbrels in fly. Hundreds of Dunlins, several flocks, the
biggest well over a hundred was at the SE end. Semipalmated Plover 6 on small
island on the bay together with Dunlins. Semipalmated Sandpiper several between
Dunlins. I have met one lonely Dunlin, with time we were 5 meters of distance,
which allow me to take great photos, it was cripple. Least and Willow
Flycatcher were calling in several places. Great Egrets are building nests (3).
New heronry of Black-Crowned Night Herons is greatly increasing, compering to
last year ( west of the road, a few hundreds meters north of bridge).
On the “Wet Wood” I was shortly: Am. Redstart, Black–Throated Blue Warbler,
Swamp Sparrow, Scarlet Tanager (male), Blue-Grey Gnatcatcher, Eastern Phoebe,
Eastern-Wood Pewee, Swainson’s Thrush, Common Yellowthroat.
May trip lasts from 9:30 to 6:15 PM. The list of birds 51. 200 hundreds photos
taken, the best: Dunlin and flocks of Dunlins in fly.

Good birding,
Jacek Pawlikowski

PS In 2013 and on this weekend I seen Oriole which suggests Scott’s Oriole,
black hood and yellow body?
