I was driving towards Mitchell's Bay this afternoon and was less than a
block away when I spotted a small group of White Pelicans flying at tree level
right across the road ahead of me. I was too busy trying to pull over and
park to count, but there must have been at least 5 or 6 Pelicans. By the
time I got out of my car with my camera I was only able to photograph the
straggler. The group continued flying towards the water and then headed west
out of sight across the bay.

Perhaps this is the same group reported yesterday at Hillman Marsh.
