This morning at 8:30 AM I found two Sora at the Richmond Conservation area near Ottawa. They were vocalizing in the marshy area along the north edge of the south most cell (the one with the viewing platform). Over a half hour I was able to get two good views.
Directions: Richmond Conservation Area is southwest of Ottawa near the town of Richmond. To reach the conservation area take Eagleson or Old Richmond south to the crossing of Eagleson and Old Richmond Road. Go south on Eagleson about 300 m to the parking area.
