This morning I observed and photographed one Red-necked Grebe chick at the Bronte Harbour nest. At least four eggs remain. A photo showing the chick as well as a wide angle view of the nest in context is on my Flickr Photostream. Afternoon light is better so I will try to go back for more photos later today. https://www.flickr.com/photos/gavin_edmondstone/
Directions: Exit the QEW at Bronte Road (Oakville) and go south to the lake. Turn left at the end of Bronte Road where it becomes Ontario Street. Park east of the Restaurant/banquet hall. The nest is near shore just east of the picnic dock. The area is served by Oakville Transit routes 2 and 14 from the Bronte and Oakville GO Stations respectively.
