Visitors:
A few families stopped by with their children to enjoy the view and some
looks at swans and osprey. A couple from Tilbury and a fellow from Chatham
came to get a look at the Snowy Egret. 


Weather:
A very hot day with humidity up to 95. 1-7kph winds predominately from the
South with close to 100% cloud cover for a large portion of the day.
Visibility up to 16km.

Raptor Observations:
A total of 7 raptors; 4 of which were NH, and one each of ML, OS, and SS
which all flew through very low. 2 resident Peregrine Falcons were showing
off their flying prowess while chasing the resident Osprey and immature
Bald Eagles.  

Non-raptor Observations:
Cedar Waxwings made up the majority of non-raptor migrants with 286 flying
by in small groups of 30 or so. Other species of note were 97 D-C
Cormorants in loose formations, 4 Chimney Swifts, 4 Yellowleg Sp., 3
R-throated Hummingbirds, 26 Goldfinches, Tree Swallows and Rough-winged
Swallows. 

2 Monarchs.

Predictions:
Thunderstorms for the morning and precipitation clearing up in the
afternoon. Winds from the W at 10-15km/h
