Hello Ontbirders,

Fourteen of us, properly attired, enjoyed the beautiful birding weather today
starting at 8 AM at Colonel Samuel Smith Park in Etobicoke in the rain and
ending at 3:30 PM at Jack Darling Park in Mississauga, in the rain.

The group tallied a total of 65 species with the highlight being 6 species of
heron at CSSP. The Least Bittern and Yellow-crowned Night-Heron were life birds
for many in the group.

We tallied 15 species of warbler and 4 species of vireo. Shorebirds were scarce
and the ever changing winds didn't bring us any jaegers but did bring us 6
species of raptors later in the day.

A wonderful group with keen eyes and warm personalities.

Good birding,
