I had good views of the Northern Wheatear on Milton Rd. around 8am this
morning. He was hanging close to the hay bales, often resting just above
ground near the far bale, or foraging on ground in that area (during which he
was usually not visible.) He also perched on the fences of a small enclosure
in front of the bales, where an Eastern Phoebe was also foraging.

Directions: from Ottawa take 417 east to Innes and turn left onto Innes. Then
right on Navan, right on Milton, and drive to 4000 Milton Rd. The Wheatear was
near some grazing horses on the right side of the road.
