Observation end time: 17:30:00
Total observation time: 10.5 hours

Official Counter: Jonathan Stein

Observers: Andrew Sturgess, Patrick Mulawa

Visitors:
15+

Weather:
Overcast at the start, by late afternoon it was sunny and clear, nary a
cloud in the sky. The wind was moderate and out of the west and northwest.

Raptor Observations:
After a two day break, the broadwings were back in force, streaming through
steadily into the evening hours. Along with them came not only a nice
trickle of Sharp-shinned and Cooper's hawks but also our third and fourth
Swainson's Hawks of the season, both of whom offered up lengthy looks.
Otherwise, Northern Harriers and Bald Eagles began to assert themselves
once again but American Kestrels remained mostly inactive.

Non-raptor Observations:
Red-headed Woodpecker (1), Northern Flicker (8), Blue Jay (1200+), Common
Loon (1), Lesser Scaup (10), Pied-billed Grebe (2) Cape May Warbler (4)

Predictions:
Mostly sunny with light southwest winds.
