Observation start time: 07:00:00
Observation end time: 15:00:00
Total observation time: 8 hours

Official Counter: Jonathan Stein

Observers: Andrew Sturgess, Patrick Mulawa

Visitors:
12 including a recently-minted centennarian whose spotting skills remained
undiminished.

Weather:
Beautiful weather once again, clear and sunny with a light southeast breeze
coming in off the lake. The only blight was a jumble of early fog but even
that burned off soon enough.

Raptor Observations:
Northern Harriers, Sharp-shinned Hawks and American Kestrels rode the
afternoon tailwind, pushing past quickly and without hesitation.

Non-raptor Observations:
Blue Jay (2000+), American Goldfinch (30+)

Predictions:
Our run of pleasant conditions appears to be coming to an end. Tomorrow,
cooler temps are expected along with mostly cloudy skies and an 80 percent
chance of morning rain. On the bright side, light north wind is likely,
which might get some birds up and moving once the rain clears.
