Good Afternoon All, Jean and I checked out the fields south of the NHS Hospital in St. Catharines earlier this afternoon. No owls but we found 5 Lapland Longspur feeding on some corn at the side of the road. Observed on 5th Avenue between 3rd Street and 1st Street at approximately 1:45 PM. A good species for Count Week if not observed during tomorrow's St. Catharines CBC.
