Just now we found the two Snow Geese & the single Ross's Goose reported at
Glengarry Landing yesterday by David Smyr. The Nottawasaga River is open right
where it crosses under hwy 26 North of the Minesing wetlands. All three geese
flew up out of a flock of Canada Geese on the south side of hwy 26 just as we
arrived. They circled gaining altitude & giving excellent viewing for about
three minutes and then flew out of sight to the northwest following the
Nottawasaga River. The Ross's goose was clearly recognizable as only 50% to 60%
of the size of the Snow Geese. Viewers in the Wasaga Beach area to the north &
northwest may want to watch for them.

Location Glengarry Landing has a road sign & not much else right where the
Nottawasaga River crosses Highway 26 north of the Minesing Wetlands west of
Barrie.
