At noon today there was a large flock of snow geese (10,000??± I always
underestimate) in the flooded Riviere Baudet just south of GreenValley.
They did one brief lift-off while we were there (for about 20 minutes).
Hwy 417 east from Ottawa, exit McCrimmon Road (to #34), continue south
through Alexandria and Green Valley.
Hwy 401 exit north at Lancaster (Hwy #34 north) to Green Valley.
