Ontbirds subscribers,

Just a note to let people know that there will be observers at the platform on
the east side of Oshawa Second Marsh counting Little Gulls again this weekend
and there should still be plenty of birds around for those who have not yet had
a chance to get out there to observe them.

Directions: From Hwy 401 on the east side of Oshawa, take Exit 419 (Farwell
St.) south to Colonel Sam Dr., turn left. Take it nearly to its end; turn right
into the General Motors parking lot just before the General Motors Canada Head
Office building. Go straight ahead to the far side of the parking lot. The
viewing tower will be ahead and to the right about 100 metres to the northwest.
Follow the paths to the eastern periphery of the marsh.

P.S. After my prior posting, my good friend Alan Wormington sent me a note to
remind me that there is a long-standing convention to refer to that big bright
star emerging over the eastern horizon in the morning as "sunrise".
