It is with some embarrassment that I report that the many OFOers who attended
the Durham waterfront walk today had a marvellous outing .. albeit without me!
I apologize to each and all of you for my absence. It was one of life’s little
glitches - I simply forgot.

I know that many of you carried on without me and had a great day. I'd like to
thank Mark Cranford for helping guide the guideless and for Roland and Deb for
trying to find me. The good news is I have been found ... as a consolation, if
anyone would like to go out tomorrow I will be happy to meet you at 8:30 at
Cranberry Marsh and we can trace part of today’s route. I would ask however
that anyone who wants to go email me privately tonight so I can judge the
participation. I won’t be going down to the lakeshore if no one emails, so pls
don’t just show up at 8:30 at the lakeshore. If no one chooses to go and I
don’t blame you as I’m apparently pretty unreliable, I shall stay home and do
some sort of penance.

Seriously email me at [email protected] if you’d like to go out
tomorrow morning. For those that might wonder where I was – I was at an
Environmental Advisory Committee Seminar in Markham – serves me right!
