If you can't get down to Point Peele, and live in York region I have had 2 days
of a very active variety of Warblers, Wood Duck Pair in full colours, hairy
Wood Pecker, possibly Yellow-Bellied Sapsucker (looked like a Downy with red on
the head).
Richmond Hill OntarioJust West of Leslie St is Forestwood St. Take it up to
Herbert Watford Ave and park at the end. Follow the trail down to the field and
through to the river. Walk the river edge, the birds are very active along the
river bank.
P.S. Watch out for all the small trees we planted with the Scouts & Town of
Richmond Hill yesterday.
