Hi Everyone In response to several requests from out of town birders this morning I've updated the current status of this Little Egret.
June 2. Early afternoon to early evening at Carp June 3 first light to 6am at Carp June7 afternoon at Kanata June 8 Bridlewood Kanata and Palladium Drive Kanata until mid afternoon June 17 late afternoon at Manotick June 20 early am near Manotick June 24 early am until mid afternoon Andrew Haydon Park Nepean. And later for a brief time at Britannia Ottawa. June 25 off Britannia Point/ Pinecrest creek evening, and flying over to roost on Conroy Island June 26 off Britannia Point / Pinecrest creek all day and flying over to Conroy Island to roost. June 27 present at 5:45am mouth of Pinecrest Creek off Britannia Point. At 6:38am the little egret flew southwest and hasn't returned to the Pinecrest Creek.
