After receiving a couple of requests about travelling to Ottawa for the Little Egret I just wanted to update Bruce DiLabio's post of this morning. The bird did NOT show up at Andrew Haydon Park after several days of arriving there first thing in the morning. I checked a number of likely locations this morning in the south and west of the city with no luck. This bird continues to elude us during most of the daylight hours. It is to be hoped that the bird returns to its routine of stopping at Andrew Haydon at first light. We will obviously post if the bird is seen again. Good luck to anyone travelling
