Observation start time: 07:00:00
Observation end time: 15:00:00
Total observation time: 8 hours

Official Counter: Jonathan Stein

Observers: Andrew Sturgess, Frank Kitakis, Rosemary Brady

Visitors:
25+

Weather:
It was a gorgeous day at the park, balmy with clear skies (outside some
high cirrus and diffuse contrails), plenty of sun and a light southeast
breeze to keep us cool after noon.

Raptor Observations:
Not much was going on raptor-wise. Like yesterday, sporadic morning
movement slowed to a crawl in the afternoon. Sharpies and harriers
dominated the totals once again and a close Merlin, this time to start the
day, provided the highlight.

Non-raptor Observations:
Northern Pintail (2), Great Egret (3), Great Blue Heron (5), Killdeer (5),
Belted Kingfisher (2), Red-winged Blackbird (550+), Chimney Swift (40+),
Blue Jay (8), Northern Flicker (3), American Goldfinch (25+), Ruby-throated
Hummingbird (11), Common Green Darner (93), Monarch (131)

Predictions:
Mostly sunny with warm temps and light south wind.
