Warbler numbers are starting to climb. They have not reached the high levels
we saw the last 2 years, yet. Mixed with them are significant numbers of
finch. Also many flickers along roadways in area.

The sandhill cranes are massing and are on the move. The 2 pair that nested
in the south field have moved to the south east field. (One fledgling was
eaten by a coyote but the second looks healthy.) I heard 500 were in Little
Rapids yesterday but couldn't find them.

Plummer Additional is between Sudbury and Sault Ste. Marie. From highway 17
go north on 638 and cross over the railway tracks. Kerr field is east from
638 on McPhail.

Good Birding!
