I observed this buoyant thrush in flight briefly, then atop a tree for three or
so seconds before it flew down into the bushes further away. Diagnostic picture
is on ebird and in the Ontario Birds Facebook group. Grey back, light belly,
eyering, white 'wing patch', short primary projection, and white edges to the
tertials were noted. The bird showed a long tail with white outer retrices.

The bird was located in Glendon Forest, in the NW section of the park. From the
parking lot on the left of the road before the horse stables in Sunnybrook,
continue on a gravel trail through the forest. About 4/5 of the way down,
there's a small pedestrian bridge on the right which crosses the creek. It's
'closed' to protect the other side (if you want to, just walk over the chain).
The bird was at the top of a tree 20 feet beyond the little bridge. 100
American Robins and 2 Hermit Thrushes were eating berries in there, so I'd like
to think that the bird will stay, considering the ample amount of food.

Sunnybrook Park is located at the NW corner of Leslie Street and Eglington
Avenue East in Toronto. The access road into the park is located 50m north of
Eglington on Leslie.

Happy birding!
