Today, I spotted a Snowy Owl, perched in the top of a big old gnarly tree,
situated in the back, south east corner of the property that the Colonial
Concepts Log home Company sits on.

There was a Snowy at the Lindsay Airport last year, and it was most often seen
sitting on the top of a hydro pole, just past the airport hanger. Sometimes it
would also perch on the top of an elm tree in a field across from the airport,
or on top of one of the light standards at the go kart track, south of the
airport. So, if you don’t see it where it was today, check these three other
places.

I got a side view photo, and the bird is very white, so I’m assuming it’s a
male.

Location: Highway 35, north of Highway 7 and Lindsay. Colonial Concepts is on
the east side of Hwy 35, north of the Lindsay Airport and just south of Thunder
Bridge Road.

Happy Owling!
Cheers,
Judy Kennedy, Cameron, ON
