Thirty seven Ottawa Field Naturalist Club (OFNC) members joined me for a
guided walk around Britannia Conservation Area (Mud Lake) in Ottawa this
morning.

We nearly achieved our target of fifty species. Highlights included: first
of the year for many Pied-billed Grebe, Pine Warbler, and Yellow-rumped
Warbler. Special treats for those that stayed with the group at the end
were; Hermit Thrush and Fox Sparrow.

Thanks to all that attended, it was a thoroughly enjoyable outing in super
spring weather.
