As some of you may know, there is a Great Horned Owl nest at Gibbon's Park. I
do not usually post the location of nests and such, but this one needs to be
brought to attention. There has been a large number of photographers that have
come to see the owlets, after it was reported in the London Free Press, and on
the TV news. I do not think that it was the right thing to do, but that is my
opinion. I just want to tell people to always stay a respectable distance from
any nest, and to never use flash on owls. Last night, there were numerous
people using flash photography. Please consider the two points, and (kindly)
ask anyone who is too close or using flash to stop. Please be responsible
birders and photographers. The owls seemed to be under great stress last night,
and it was no doubt to the great number of photographers and other observers.

Thank-you, and Good Birding,
