I do not know if the Common Ringed Plover has been seen today.
There continues to be confusion about hours of operation at Tommy Thompson Park at the foot of Leslie Street in Toronto.
The park is an active construction site with trucks hauling landfill during the day. It is open to the public on weekends but closed to public access Monday to Friday. Published hours of operations for the park can be found at http://www.tommythompsonpark.ca/
There has been a history of informal access to the park after hours but as far as I know the park is closed.
