Though one is never comfortable with reporting such a rarity I just want to explain "distinctive" flight call. Comparing it to the usual suspect around here the Semi-Palmated Plover, the 2 syllables of the call were of similar pitch and just slightly slower as if the bird was not excited. That's the best way I can describe why it caught my attention so much. One never knows for certain but I was certain enough to throw my neck out on a line.
