Weather:
Another day of clear blue skies and very warm temps to a high of 27C. Winds
started light from the ENE then swung round to SE and finally SW.
Raptor Observations:
A few birds on the move today with a total of just 35 tallied....Osprey
(2), N. Harriers (2), Sharpies (15) and A. Kestrels (16).
Local Bald Eagles and TVs were observed but not counted.
Non-raptor Observations:
A few passerines were reported... Red-bellied Woodpecker, Cedar Waxwings,
RT Hummingbird, Downy Woodpecker, A. Goldfinch, E. Wood Pewee, Gray Catbird
and Barn Swallows.
Also...Monarchs have been observed on the move along the lake shore for the
past few days though not in any large numbers as of yet.
