Observers: Jim McCoy, Olga Klekner

Visitors:
The beautiful fall weather brought many visitors to the tower today...from
both near and far. Amy and Audra from Windsor and Sam and Damaris from New
Hampshire passed the morning hours with me. Olga was there with friends
from New York City. Several couples from London Ontario, Mr & Mrs Chan from
East Lansing MI, and many others kept the conversation going throughout the
day.

Weather:
A sunny cool morning warmed nicely throughout the day. Winds were East and
South, mainly light.

Raptor Observations:
10 Species of raptor were observed today. Still a few Broad-winged Hawks
moving through. Red-tailed Hawks are starting to move through in small
numbers, while Sharp-shinned Hawks continue. Our resident Bald Eagle
population was active in patrolling the skies today.

Non-raptor Observations:
Blue Jays showed some good numbers today ending with 14,660. Great Egrets
and Great Blue Herons are still in the marsh with double digit numbers, and
the Mute Swans seem to be multiplying.
