Observation start time: 07:00:00
Observation end time: 16:30:00
Total observation time: 9.5 hours

Official Counter: Natalie Cypher

Observers: Andrew Sturgess, Patrick Mulawa, Rosemary Brady

Visitors:
Very few visitors today, just the official volunteers.

Weather:
Skies were mostly clear, with light winds beginning NNE and gradually
shifting to SE by the end of the day.

Raptor Observations:
It was a Turkey Vulture day! Kettles were constant, with an end total of
6773 birds. Red-tailed Hawks had a pretty strong showing with 111 birds
total. A spattering of Bald Eagles, Northern Harriers, Sharp-shinned,
Cooper's, Red-shouldered,and Broad-winged Hawks, and American Kestrels
rounded out the day for an all-around great day of hawkwatching.

Non-raptor Observations:
Blue Jays continued to move through in large numbers - many thousands. A
count was not kept due to their distance.

Predictions:
Tomorrow's weather conditions will be pleasant, with light winds from the
south. Good Turkey Vulture movement should be expected again.
