The Gray Kingbird remains. This morning my wife and I arrived at Townline Road
(Route 262) and Jerico Road in Bergen at 9:40 am. We immediately found the
Gray Kingbird on a utility wire on the south side of Route 262 opposite the
first house (new) 80-100 yards west of Jerico Road. It was feeding constantly
and always in the 40 minutes of our observation, returned to the same area of
the utility wire to rest and preen. For our entire time there we remained in
the car from where I was able to photograph the bird. We parked well along the
shoulder of the road and the bird was not the least bit bothered by our
presence there. Beware of considerable traffic along Route 262.

Exit the thruway at 19/490 take 19 north, cross through Route 33 and continue
north to Route 262 at the center of Bergen. Turn left on 262 and Jerico Road is
the next road west of a set of railway tracks.

Good luck and good birding.
