Observation start time: 08:30:00
Observation end time: 16:00:00
Total observation time: 7.5 hours

Official Counter: Sean Jenniskens

Observers: Jim McCoy, Larry Ludwicki, Michael Williamson

Visitors:
Mike, Larry, and Jim were on the tower for varying amounts of time today.

Weather:
Another chilly day on the tower! Though the wind wasn't as strong as the
past couple day, it was still brisk and plenty strong.

Raptor Observations:
About 20 of the raptors migrated over between 11:30-12. Mostly Red-tailed
Hawks again today, but we did also get a few Red-shouldered Hawks. A
high-up Turkey Vulture had us excited briefly hoping for a Golden Eagle.

Non-raptor Observations:
A group of 57 Tundra Swans flew over heading S high in the sky. One single
Sandhill Crane was seen flying out over the marsh, interestingly, it had
one of its legs dangling down. The Cormorants and Herons are almost all
gone for the winter, just a few seem to be left. For the full eBird
checklist, go to http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist/S32658992

Predictions:
Another cold day tomorrow, with more Northwesterly winds, but still lighter
than today.
