>From 2 to 3 pm today, the Murre was drifting slowly about 80 meters from the >east shore of Muskrat Lake. It didn't dive once. It was just a bit to the >right of the line of Cowley St in Cobden. The viewing from the end of >Summerfield Drive would have been about the same distance as from Cowley (i.e. >pretty far). I had a good look at the Pacific Loon near the middle area at >the bottom of the lake prior to 2pm, but didn't really look for it after that >because I still hadn't found the Murre at that point.
Also saw a flock of 12 Pine Grosbeaks on the road, 4km east of Whitney, and a flock of 10 WW Crossbills just west of Whitney. There were two more WWC's squashed on the highway. Weather tomorrow could be bad for driving.
