This afternoon just after lunch I found 24 Turkey Vultures perched on the rooftops of the old church at Jerseyville Rd and Field Rd in Ancaster. That is just west of Hamilton off the 403. Most were sitting still but 2 flew from roof to roof and 2 others sat with wings outstretched in the sun. It all seemed odd after not seeing any for a few months to see a large group in February.
