Snow cover is still extensive in Algonquin Park and knee-deep in many shaded
areas. We will avoid deep snow and melt puddles when possible, but appropriate footwear is strongly recommended. Start Time and Location: 9 am in the Visitor Centre lobby (km 43 on Highway 60). Coffee should be available starting at 8 am! End Time and Location: About 4 pm at the West Gate on Highway 60. No problem if you need to leave earlier. Park Use Permits: Available between 8 and 9 am at the Visitor Centre. Just come to the Visitor Centre rather than obtaining your permit at the gates. Permits for both Daily use and Summer Seasonal use are available. Lunch Location: At the Visitor Centre. Bring your own and/or purchase lunch, coffee, etc. at the Visitor Centre restaurant.
