Hello, I observed the Western Grebe at J. C. Saddington Park this afternoon (3:45) in difficult viewing conditions. A scope is likely required. It was to the west of the moored ship, out past the brown water.
Directions from the QEW: take Mississauga Road south then turn left onto Lake Street. You can park here, or continue and turn right onto Front St. S. and park on the east side of the street. Walk on the trail south to the lake. I also spent 35 minutes earlier today looking for the Harris's Sparrow in Milton without success. Cheers, Mark _______________________________________________ ONTBIRDS is presented by the Ontario Field Ornithologists (OFO) - the provincial birding organization.
